The Friend I Met
When I was in middle school I had joined the after school program. When I went to the gym there was a kid playing basketball by himself. I asked him to 1v1 me and he agreed. We played up to 21. At the end I had won by a couple of points and from then we were friends. It has been 4 years since that happened and now I can call that kid my brother. We act like we knew each other since birth, even though we didn’t. There are times when we have problems but nothing breaks our friendship. I don’t know what I would without this kid in my life.
